Walton EMC Charity Golf Tournament raises $48,000 for Boys and Girls Club

Walton EMC employees recently hosted their annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Georgia Club in Statham. The fundraising event brought together co-op employees, community members and supporters to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Walton County.

“One of the seven co-op principles is concern for community,” said Community and Member Services Director Jeff Paul. “Walton EMC has taken that to heart.”

The funds raised during the tournament will directly benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Walton County, enabling them to continue providing essential programs, mentorship and resources to the children they serve. Walton EMC is committed to giving back to the community through events like the golf tournament, showcasing the co-op’s dedication to improving the quality of life in local communities.

“Thank you to all the participants and supporters who made this event a success,” Paul said. “Together, we are making a difference in the lives of the youth in our community.”
