Plugged In: Is Walton EMC sponsoring Lineman of the Week?

A: Yes, we’re again spotlighting the best football linemen hailing from high schools within the co-op’s service area. Each week during football season, Walton EMC will honor two student-athletes – one representing the east and one from the west side of the co-op’s 10-county service area. Selected by coaches, these athletes not only demonstrate talent on the gridiron but also leadership on and off the field. A Walton EMC professional electric utility lineman, our version of a valued team player, personally presents each weekly winner with a commemorative football. We announce honorees on Walton EMC’s Facebook page weekly, so stay tuned for this year’s winners.
