The League of American Bicyclists sponsors and celebrates National Bike Month to show the benefits of biking. Whether you bike for fun, for sport, to be healthier, or to help the environment, it is a great way to spend part of your day. If you haven’t been much into bicycling before, this may be the perfect opportunity to try.

Biking is not only great exercise, but it can get you outside and it can help the environment because you can start biking places instead of driving. In fact, May 19 is Bike to Work Day. Many different places and cities celebrate this, so find out if anyone in your area is doing it and see if you can join!
