Hands of Hope – $5,000. Organization for individuals with disabilities and exceptional needs. Project: Funding for equipment. Walton County.

Rockdale Care, Inc. – $3,000. Provides individual-based activities for the disabled to promote confidence and independence. Project: Repairs to heating and A/C unit. DeKalb, Gwinnett, Newton and Rockdale counties.

Sudie Clark Hanger Missionary Care Ministry – $15,000. A guesthouse for missionaries and pastors transitioning to/from the mission field. Project: Addition of two more private sleeping apartments. Oconee County.

YMCA of Georgia’s Piedmont – $5,000. Strengthens communities by connecting people to their potential, purpose and each other. Project: Pryme Tyme after school program. Barrow, Clarke, Walton and Gwinnett counties.

ALS Association of Georgia – $10,000. Serves, advocates, and empowers people affected by ALS to live their lives to the fullest. Project: The Kostiuk ALS Care Grant Program. Supports individuals and their families living with ALS. All of Walton EMC territory.

Angel House of Georgia – $5,100. A place to call home for women struggling with addiction. Project: Funding assistance for those who lack financial support to get treatment. All of Walton EMC territory.

Boy with a Ball – $5,000. Mentoring organization for underprivileged youth. Project: High school students in at-risk communities are trained and guided to be mentors to middle school students. Gwinnett County.

DDD Foundation, Inc. – $4,000. Provides accessible, comprehensive dental treatments to patients with developmental disabilities. Project: Dental Care. All of Walton EMC territory.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes – $10,000. Programs to equip, empower and encourage local coaches and athletes to make a positive impact on the world. Project: FCA Camp and Huddle support, scholarship and resources. Walton County.

Georgia Conflict Center, Inc. – $3,000. Organization with a mission to build peace with justice by advancing restorative practices within communities, schools and institutions. Project: Restorative Justice Youth Diversion. Barrow, Clarke, Gwinnett and Oconee Counties.

Georgia Radio Reading Service – $5,880. A broadcast for people who may be vision impaired and no longer able to read the local newspaper. Project: On-air reading of local newspapers and “dixie living” articles. All of Walton EMC territory.

Operation Appreciation Inc. – $2,500. Mentoring organization for service members, veterans and their immediate family members. Project: Military Emergency Humanitarian Support initiative. All of Walton EMC territory.

PTSD Foundation of America – $5,000. Provides residential treatment, housing and peer support to combat veterans in transitioning from the military to civilian life. Project: Supporting Georgia’s combat veterans. Barrow, DeKalb, Gwinnett and Walton counties.

Skye Precious Kids Inc. – $6,000. Provides resources to families in financial crisis who are caring for children facing life-threatening illnesses and disabilities. Project: Health assistance for those in need. All of Walton EMC territory.

Faith in Serving Humanity Medical – $15,000. A Christian outreach ministry that provides assistance with food, finances and medical needs.

Salvation Army Gwinnett – $15,000. A Christian outreach ministry that provides assistance with food, finances and medical needs.
