  Line technicians who install underground electric cable for Walton EMC are the best in Georgia at preventing utility outages and accidents.
• EMC Security Gains in National Ranking
  EMC Security, a provider of residential and commercial security services and residential home technology, moved from 74th to 54th in total sales volume among the top 100 security firms in the nation as ranked by Security Distributing & Marketing (SDM), a security industry publication.
• Georgia Linemen's Rodeo Placers
  Walton EMC line technicians made an impressive showing at the Georgia Lineman's Rodeo in Perry.
• World Champion Apprentice Line Technician
  Ryan West won the International Linemans Rodeo in Kansas City to become the best at his craft.
• Business of the Year
  Walton EMC is named the Business of the Year by the Walton County Chamber of Commerce.
• Samaritan Business Award
  Walton EMC is the first recipient of the Samaritan Business Ethics Award by Covenant Counseling and Family Resource Center and the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce.
